Pacifican Brothers Renew their Vows on the Feast of Immaculate Conception

The nine Pacifican Brothers renewed their vows last December 8 on the feast of the Immaculate Conception at five o’clock in the afternoon here at Marist Asia-Pacific Center. They are Brothers Norman, Clement, Noah, Patrick, Walter and Sixtus from Papua New Guinea, Brother Luke from Fiji, Brother Claudius from Solomon Islands and Brother Tainga from Kiribati. The Eucharist was presided by Fr. Gavin Foster, a Marist Father all the way from Davao who stayed with us for a couple of days. A time for socialization followed after as the newly renewed brothers performed different cultural dances and songs in which they were joined by visitors from Institute of Consecrated Life in Asia and East-Asian Pastoral Institute of Ateneo University. A sumptuous dinner was served with variety of cultural food cooked by our various national groups of MAPAC community. A thanksgiving speech by Brother Luke on behalf of the Brothers who had renewed vows closed the evening.
