MAPAC Board Executive Meeting
On May 19 and 20, the MAPAC Board Executive (Brothers Manny De Leon (Ch), Sunanda Alwis, Ken McDonal and Des Howard) met at the Marist Asia Pacific Centre to assess the Budget, propose personnel for the staff and consider any urgent matters that have risen since the full Board meeting. It was also an opportunity for Des to give a report on his role as Rector, a role that he assumed in February, 2008. Since the members of the Executive approved the project of renovation for the kitchen in March this year, they were able to inspect the work in progress. It is hoped that the new kitchen will be ready for operation by the beginning of June.
