OUR NEW CHAPLIN
Hello I am Fr. Simon Kewandi from Papua New Guinea, I was ordained in 2001. For the first three years, I worked in the diocesan vocation office as vocation director and at the same time as an assistant parish priest. I was mostly involved in both diocesan pastoral planning and parish pastoral activities.
In June 2007 I came to East Asian Pastoral Institute for the pastoral renewal course. The last nine months was very beneficial for me. I felt that I had recharged my death battery. Not only that but I also develop my interest in studies again. After successfully completed all the courses offered at EAPI. I decided to pursue my studies for another two years. So I was kindly asked by the administration of EAPI o leave the campus and look for another place to stay for my studies. While I was still searching for a place, the Marist brothers at Marikina came to rescue me.
I am very thankful for their generosity in allowing me to stay with them.
