farewell to ma’am Joycee
We had a farewell for Ma’am Joycee on July 3rd Thursday. She is retiring from her work as a secretary. She has done great work as a secretary. This is the time to thank her for the work; we thanked for the great work and wish her well for her new job. This is the speech given by Bro. Manuel Uluan on the occasion:
Today we would like to give thanks to Mrs. Josefina M Sucayan or popularly known as Joycee or Ma’am Joycee to students. She had been with Marist Asia Pacific center since 1993, that is for fifteen years. As secretary and registrar of the center she has seen six rectors FROM Br. Wenceslao Calimpon, Br. Alfredo Herrera, Br. Pateno Corpus, Br. Carl Tapp, Br. Jeff Crowe to Bro. Desmond Howard, and five deans: Bro. Columbanus Pratt, Bro. Luke Pearson, Bro. Julian Quinlan, Bro. Paterno Corpus and Bro. Manuel P. Uluan. Her dedication and her commitment to her job are legendary. We will surely miss her. However she will not be entirely away from us since she has agreed to work for us on a part-time basis as physical plant supervisor and librarian.
We wish Joycee the best and may her retirement years be fruitful and enjoyable.
